Hospitality Employee Outreach Programs

We understand what it's like to not make ends meet. We also understand that it's important to make sure funding is used in a streamlined manner to help. It's our goal to ensure that every donation has a meaningful impact on the lives of our recipients.

Our grant recipients never handle their own funds, rather we give direct relief. This holds all parties accountable while ensuring best use of dollars.

Industry Employee Grant

The hospitality industry covers a lot of positions but these are some examples of frontline employees that we assist. 
  • Restaurant Employees & Owners
  • Food Truck Employees & Owners
  • Hotel Workers
  • Resort Employees
  • Casino Staff
  • Country Club Workers
  • Tourism Related Employees
You must provide a pay stub with your current or previous employer and a direct deposit statement during the application process.

Industry Worker Grant

We understand that in times of crisis immediate solutions are critical. The Think Pineapple Foundation uses the following 5 step process for consideration of your application: 
  • Application submission
  • Information verification process
  • Zoom interview
  • Board review
  • Distribution of funds
The application must provide firect contact information in order to be approved for assistance. Applications accepted starting September 1, 2021.

Hospitality Business Grant

This grant is designed to help keep the corner stone of our community in business. Small local businesses were feeling the pressure well before covid started and situations are getting dire. We have strict criteria for grant approval: 
  • Privately Owned Hospitality Entity
  • In Business For 3 To 5 Years
  • Submit 2 Years Bank Statements
  • Employee Local Employees
We do not provide long term financial assistance. Our staff are experts in turning around situations of crisis for business owners. any grant money received will go directly to paying your obligations or with a strict set of guidelines.

Initial Care Benefits

Grant recipients do not ever handle a monetary gift. Once approved from the application process gifts are paid directly to the financial institution. The assistance is provided to cover the following : 
  • Rent Or Housing Costs
  • Mobile Phone Bill
  • Utilities
  • Healthcare Related Expenses
  • Transportation Payment Or Repair
  • Children's Items
It's important to note that we do not provide long term assistance. The goal behind these funds are to get the recipient back on their feet and support them in a time of need
